Reach
Puzzle · plays in your browser, no download
A thief with a very long arm. Draw its path to the diamond with your finger, around walls, laser beams, sleeping dogs and fire, and mind the rope: it only goes so far.
Where it comes from
Heist puzzles on phones grew out of the old line-drawing games, where you trace a route and the game follows it. The cartoon burglar with the stretchy arm made it a story: a museum at night, something shiny on a cushion, and everything between you and it that should not be touched.
How to play
- The thief stretches his arm to grab the treasure. Draw the arm’s path with your finger, starting from his glove.
- Let go on the treasure and the arm follows your line. It must not touch anything: walls, laser beams, sleeping dogs, fire, cacti.
- Touch something and the alarm goes off. A line that does not reach the treasure does nothing: just draw again.
- The rope is only so long — the bar at the bottom shows what is left.
What makes this one different
One line, drawn once. You plan the whole route of the arm before it moves, and then you can only watch: if the line brushes a laser or a sleeping dog, it is over. It is a drawing puzzle more than a reflex game — the straight line is always blocked, and at the top levels the rope is barely long enough for the route that works.
Three heists per star, each built around a route that works: the obstacles keep their distance from it, and one always blocks the straight line. Walls, laser beams between two emitters, sleeping dogs, campfires and cacti; diamonds, money bags and crowns. More stars means more in the way, narrower gaps and a shorter rope.
