This policy covers every Brain Games app published on Google Play under the developer name Roberto76 — among them Backgammon Grandmaster edition, Chess Grandmaster Edition, Sudoku and Solitaire. Brain Games is a trademark of ARDINOX SAGL, Piazzetta San Carlo 2, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland, the company that owns and operates these apps. It is written to be understood, not to be long.
Deleting your account and your data. Two ways, and both erase everything: in the app, open your profile and choose Delete account — or, if you have already uninstalled it, email info@brain-games.app from the address you signed up with. Either way your account and everything attached to it are deleted within thirty days. Full details in Account and data deletion below.
In short. You can try one game without signing up and without giving us anything. To keep playing you need a profile, and then we need an email address, the name you choose and your country. We do not sell your data to anyone. The apps do carry advertising, and that is what keeps them free: you can choose between tailored and generic ads, and you can change that choice at any time.
The first game is played without an account, and in that case we collect nothing: everything stays on your phone.

The apps are free because they carry advertising. We would rather say so plainly here than let you find out during your first game.
You will see three kinds:
Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve them, AdMob uses your phone's advertising identifier — a number that belongs to the device, not to you, and which you can reset or switch off in your Android settings under Google → Ads.
Alongside it, Google may collect technical information about the device and about which ads it has already shown you. We give it none of your profile data: not your email, not your name, not your country, not your game record.

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask you on first launch whether you want tailored or generic ads. It is the same amount of advertising either way: what changes is only whether it is picked to match your interests or at random.
You can change your mind at any time in the app settings, under privacy. Refusing tailored ads takes nothing away from the game: no level, no feature, no coins.
Some of our games sell coins: one-off packs, bought inside the app. Coins are game currency. They are not money, they cannot be moved between games or between people, and they cannot be turned back into money.
The payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card, your billing address or your Google password — Google confirms to us that a purchase happened, and nothing else.
We do store what you bought and when. We need it for two reasons: to add the coins to your balance, and to make sure the same purchase is not credited twice. That record stays with your profile and goes when your profile goes.
To let you reach your profile from any phone, to let you play against other people, to build the leaderboards, to credit the coins you buy, and to answer you when you write to us. Nothing else.
Data is stored on Google Firebase, which processes it on our behalf and on our instructions. The servers used are in the European Union.
Advertising is served through Google AdMob, which processes the device advertising identifier as an independent controller. See the advertising section above.
We do not sell your data, and we pass advertisers nothing we know about you. Other players only see the public part: your chosen name, country, rating and game statistics.
As long as you keep your profile. If you delete it, we delete everything within thirty days, including saved games and your position in the leaderboards.

Deletion is available directly in the app, in your profile. If you prefer to write, or you have already uninstalled, send us an email from the address you signed up with: we need it to be sure it is really you.

There are two ways to have your account and your data deleted:
Either way we delete your account and everything attached to it — email address, chosen name, country, coins, rating, saved games and your position in the leaderboards — within thirty days. Nothing is kept afterwards, and nothing is passed to anyone else.
Our apps are not aimed at children under thirteen and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you notice that a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete everything.
If we make a material change to this policy we will tell you inside the app, not just quietly edit this page.
