A full car park and one free space. Drive the red car in with your thumb, reversing if you have to, and stop it inside the lines without touching anything.
Where it comes from
Parking games are one of the oldest kinds of driving puzzle, and on phones and YouTube Playables they are still among the most played. Here the car park is seen from above and the car is driven with one thumb: up to go, down to reverse, sideways to steer.
How to play
- Put your finger down and slide it: up drives forward, down reverses, sideways steers. Lift the finger and the car stops. The arrows work too.
- Parked means inside the lines, straight and stopped: the space fills with yellow, and once it is full you have won.
- Touch a car, a cone or the wall and you have lost. Reversing is allowed, and often it is the way in.
What makes this one different
The car steers like a real one: the back wheels follow a tighter line than the front, so you cannot just aim at the space. Most of the game is learning where to start the turn, and when it is easier to go in backwards. Touch anything and it is over, so slow is fine.
No car park is handed out on trust. For every level the test searches for a way in using the same driving and the same collisions as the game, then drives it with the controls until the game says won. More stars means narrower spaces, a space further away behind the middle block, more cones and less time.
