Join the dots of each colour with a pipe. Connecting them all is not enough: every square has to be used.
Where it comes from
Numberlink, a Japanese pencil puzzle, and the phone games built on it. The rule that every square must be used is what separates the puzzle from the toy — without it, joining coloured dots is something a child does in a few seconds, and with it adults sit and stare.
How to play
- Drag from one dot to the other of the same colour. Pipes cannot cross.
- Dragging over someone else’s pipe cuts it, it is not forbidden. Pull where you need to and the other one shortens itself.
- Start again from a dot to redo a pipe, or drag back along it to shorten it.
What makes this one different
Joining the dots is not enough: every single square has to be used. That second rule is the whole game — without it you draw straight lines and finish in ten seconds. So every pipe has to take the long way round that still lets the others through. Three stars is nine by nine with eight colours, about ten squares per pipe.
