A dog, a beehive and one line of ink. Draw a wall with your finger, then let the bees out: for ten seconds they look for every gap you left.
Where it comes from
Line-drawing rescue puzzles, where you sketch one stroke to protect a pet and then watch it hold, are among the most played games on phones and on YouTube Playables. Here the bees are pushed back by the line, the ground and the stones, and nothing else.
How to play
- A dog, and a beehive. Put your finger down and draw one line: the bar at the top is your ink.
- Lift your finger and the line becomes a wall that stays where you drew it. Then the bees come out, for ten seconds.
- If no bee touches the dog, you win. Bees cannot pass the line, the ground or the stones, but they find every gap.
- Close it down to the ground: a line that stops in mid-air is a door. You cannot draw over the dog.
- More stars means more and faster bees, two hives, the dog on a ledge, and less ink.
What makes this one different
One line, drawn once, and then you can only watch. The bees do not fly straight at the dog: when they hit your wall they slide along it, each one its own way, until they find an end. So the whole game is the two ends of the line — a wall that stops a hair above the ground is a door.
Every scene is built around a dome that is enough, and the test draws that dome with the same finger commands you use and watches ten seconds of bees, on every level. The line is sampled at fixed steps along your finger, so a phone that sends twice the touch events draws the same wall. More stars means more, faster and smaller bees, two hives, a dog on a ledge and less ink.
