Bridge
Arcade · plays in your browser, no download
A race up a bridge you build yourself. Run over the red bricks to stack them on your back, then climb: every brick is one more step. The other runners are doing the same.
Where it comes from
The brick-carrying bridge race has been one of the most played casual games on phones and on YouTube Playables: four coloured runners, a field of loose bricks and four unfinished bridges. Here it is drawn from above, and you steer with your thumb.
How to play
- You are the red runner. Put your finger down and slide it: you run that way. The arrows work too.
- Run over the red bricks to pick them up — they stack on your back. Bricks of other colours are not yours.
- Go to the bottom of your bridge, the left lane: you climb on your own, and every brick becomes a step.
- Out of bricks, you come back down for more. Steps you have built stay built.
What makes this one different
You never build the bridge on purpose: you run over the bricks of your colour and climb, and every brick on your back turns into a step. The whole game is when to go up. Climb with a short stack and you come back down for more; wait for a tall one and a rival may already be at the flag.
Bricks come back in a fixed order of colours, never at random, so nobody gets lucky with the field. The race runs on a fixed clock, and the prova checks that it ends the same way at 60 and at 120 frames a second. More stars means a longer bridge and more rivals, and at five they run as fast as you.
