This policy covers the Backgammon, Chess, Sudoku and Solitaire apps by Brain Games. It is written to be understood, not to be long.
In short. You can play without signing up and without giving us anything. If you create a profile, we need an email address, the name you choose and your country. We do not sell your data to anyone, and there are no ads in our game apps.
Games against the computer and games with a friend on the same phone work without an account. In that case we collect nothing: your games and settings stay on your phone.
If you choose to create a profile — needed for online play, leaderboards and subscriptions — we collect:
To let you reach your profile from any phone, to let you play against other people, to build the leaderboards, to know whether your subscription is active, and to answer you when you write to us. Nothing else.
Data is stored on Google Firebase, which processes it on our behalf and on our instructions. The servers used are in the European Union.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to advertisers. Other players only see the public part: your chosen name, country, rating and game statistics.
As long as you keep your profile. If you delete it, we delete everything within thirty days, including saved games and your position in the leaderboards.
At any time you can ask us to:
Deletion is available directly in the app, in your profile. If you prefer to write, or you have already uninstalled, send us an email from the address you signed up with: we need it to be sure it is really you.
Our apps are not aimed at children under thirteen and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you notice that a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete everything.
If we make a material change to this policy we will tell you inside the app, not just quietly edit this page.
